Qualifying Information

The Bulloch County Republican Party will be qualifying local GOP candidates at the legislative office of Rep. Lehman Franklin in the Franklin Court building located at 127 North Main Street, Statesboro.

Qualifying will occur between Monday, March 2, 2026, and Friday, March 6, 2026. The office will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. On Friday, qualifying will take place from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Candidates are asked to bring a valid photo ID and a check (preferably certified or cashier’s) or money order to pay the filing fee appropriate for the office qualifying for. Checks and money orders should be made payable to the Bulloch County Republican Party.

Lawton Sack was designated by the Executive Committee as the party official for qualifying for the Bulloch County Republican Party in Bulloch County whom the candidates of such party for county elective offices shall qualify in Bulloch County more than fourteen days prior to the beginning of qualifying, as per O.C.G.A. 21-2-153(c)(2).

Candidates will have to complete their candidate paperwork, including the candidate affidavit and the Republican Party oath.
