- How would you best explain the duties of the office you seek? I want to be hands-on and give 100% support to the community and the Sheriff’s Department employees. I commit myself to this being a 24/7 job, not the 8-5 as it is being done now!
- How can you best contribute to our county and the citizens you serve? I have the experience and commitment to see that the office is run properly and fairly and that equal treatment is given to all citizens while supporting the Constitution.
- Are you willing to speak and communicate with the citizens that you serve? Anytime and anywhere! I will hold town meetings monthly at different locations and bring deputies with me to hear citizens’ concerns!
- What are your biggest concerns for the County and the citizens you are running to represent? Crime, growth, jail, mismanagement of budget, employees, no full-time task force, overtime, and the loss of deputies by the current sheriff
- What changes or improvements would you like to see made in Bulloch County? A substation on the lower end of the county for EMS and law enforcement. This is way overdue and should have been a priority seven years ago by the current Sheriff.
- What would you like to see continue in Bulloch County? Citizens show up to the polls and hold elected officials accountable for their actions.
- How would you balance the interests of the taxpayers with the needs of the citizens? Grants and slush fund money that is not being utilized instead of raising taxes. I want to have citizen academies to educate our taxpayers and reserve deputies to help with overtime issues.
- I would like to add… Bulloch County is wide open for gangs, drug activity, human trafficking, internet crimes against our children, prostitution, elder abuse, and various other misdemeanor and felony crimes. I will have full-time personnel to combat those and other crimes when elected.
