  8. If you have yet to gain prior political experience or involvement, give your reasons for seeking this position and your qualifications for office: For the citizens of Bulloch County and the employees of the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Department
  9. How would you best explain the duties of the office you seek? I want to be hands-on and give 100% support to the community and the Sheriff’s Department employees. I commit myself to this being a 24/7 job, not the 8-5 as it is being done now!
  10. How can you best contribute to our county and the citizens you serve? I have the experience and commitment to see that the office is run properly and fairly and that equal treatment is given to all citizens while supporting the Constitution.
  11. Are you willing to speak and communicate with the citizens that you serve? Anytime and anywhere! I will hold town meetings monthly at different locations and bring deputies with me to hear citizens’ concerns!
  12. What are your biggest concerns for the County and the citizens you are running to represent? Crime, growth, jail, mismanagement of budget, employees, no full-time task force, overtime, and the loss of deputies by the current sheriff
  13. What changes or improvements would you like to see made in Bulloch County? A substation on the lower end of the county for EMS and law enforcement. This is way overdue and should have been a priority seven years ago by the current Sheriff.
  14. What would you like to see continue in Bulloch County? Citizens show up to the polls and hold elected officials accountable for their actions.
  15. How would you balance the interests of the taxpayers with the needs of the citizens? Grants and slush fund money that is not being utilized instead of raising taxes. I want to have citizen academies to educate our taxpayers and reserve deputies to help with overtime issues.
  16. I would like to add… Bulloch County is wide open for gangs, drug activity, human trafficking, internet crimes against our children, prostitution, elder abuse, and various other misdemeanor and felony crimes. I will have full-time personnel to combat those and other crimes when elected.
